Daudi Anami Imbako (Toure)

Federation national leader

Daudi Anami Imbako, also known as Toure, was born and raised in Mukuru Kwa Njenga by a single parent. He is a Muungano Federation leader since 2018 and a youth mentor, community-based activist, documentation expert, data collector, and photographer. Toure has acquired practical experiences in community organizing. He has significantly contributed to the federation by organizing more youth to join Muungano Wa Wanavijiji through the Safe and Inclusive Cities project, bringing positive change to different communities. He is an award-winning human rights defender, having received recognition as the Human Rights Defender of the Year in 2020 and 2019 You Lead Ambassador. His goal is to empower and unite the community to advocate for basic services in their area.
